Eynesbury here we come !

The title says it all really !

As soon as the development at Eynesbury was announced I wanted to live there, however we had only just built our current house. What a difference 2 and a bit years can make ! We have been out twice and love it !

As soon as a suitable block comes up we will deposit. Stage 7 and 3A are currently selling. We are not looking for a golf course block as the dual frontage scares me, lol ! None of the blocks left in stage 3A are wide enough for what we want to build so looks like we will have to wait.

I came across these great charts on another blog today. Both the boys are old enough to have some responsibility in the running of the house hold. Hopefully they will be a visual motivator for the boys and also for me !

Listing on Ebay

It's hot today so I am trying to get some stuff done around here that I just keep putting off. One of those tasks has been to list items on Ebay.

First things to go are our bar stools. I have my eye on some others so although we have only had these for 12 months or so they just have to go !

New Year, Inspired Me !

There are a few things I am striving for this year.

1. To secure a job for a couple of days a week that I am truly happy in.

2. To Complete the 30 days money challenge and finally be more responsible with where our money goes.

3. To complete a photo a day, and blog it !

4. To blog more ! Yeah, I know, heard it all before, but one can only try !

I have been trying to get back into craft stuff, am depsperately waiting to get our study set up properly so that I can spread out and not have to pack things up all the time.....

The backyard is still a work in progress. We now have paths with Dromana toppings. Next will be the turf and garden beds for the boys cubby.....

Along time between drinks, or posts anyway !

So much has been happening ! The backyard is coming along nicely, will post some pics of all our hard work in the next couple of days.

In the meantime this is my latest decorating attempt, I have always wanted a chalkboard in the kitchen, now I have one !!!!!!

Update 4 - Our boys first venture into the property market !!!

Just needs a few finishing touches, I still have to paint some of the trims and affix the letterbox and ships bell and make a sign for the door. Then it is onto the landscaping for the cubby(now, that's the sort of sized landscaping project I can handle, lol ), J wants a water feature for his front garden, lol !!!!!

Update 3 - getting there....

Our bedroom is finally coming together. I had been searching for some extra cushions for the bed for ages and finally found a couple of gorgeous ones in Target !

Update 2....

Finally got our plantation shutters and blinds installed. To say that I am less then happy is an understatement !!!!! The romans I got from http://www.iseekblinds.com.au/ are fantastic. The plantation shutters I got from another company are also great but their romans are shite quality and their customer service is non-existent.

Gosh, how slack of me, I can't believe it has been soooo long since my last update !!!!!

This will be a bit of a picture fest now, lol !!!!!

First NYE. We spent NYE at home for the first time in years !!!!!!! We got to see plenty of fireworks and the boys had a ball. The seafood went down a treat as did the alcohol (for the grown ups, lol )

Decking Complete !!!!!!

Christmas is over *sigh* only 363 sleeps til Santa comes, lol !!!

Decking was finished on the 23/12, talk about cutting it fine ! Melbournes weather has just been ridiculous, we were lucky to get it finished in time for Christmas at all !

Now we just need an outdoor lounge and the decking area will be complete !

Still on the list of things to do:

1. Screening fence (possibly merbau) to hide the water tank

2.Screen for the bin area

3. Landscaping to begin on the backyard

Decking is coming along nicely......Will be all finished on Thursday. The area totals 40sqm....All we need is a disco ball hung in the alfresco and we'll be ready to paaaaarrrtayyyy !
